All About Me, Angelica!

Hello, friends! My name is Angelica but you can call me Angi, Angipoo, Angicakes, or cupcake 🧁 I am a thirty-something year old mom living in Maryland with my children. I graduate summa cum laude with my bachelor's degree in communications.

I am lots of things. Above all, I like to believe I am an advocate and friend. I am a rape survivor along with domestic violence, sexual assault, and multiple miscarriages. I have fibromyalgia and PCOS. I find most days very painful. To escape the pain I have always had a big appetite. This caused me to become almost 400lbs! I am now under 300 after the intervention of a gastric sleeve in 2020!

Along with my physical issues, my mental health ones are a-plenty. I have borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, panic disorder, PTSD, and obsessive compulsive personality disorder. (That's right - I got lots of personality ^disorders. I like to think my issues not only make me a more empathetic creature, but also someone who has a lot to share with the world.
